Haley, your dad and I graduated from high school and roomed together at La. Tech. You may remember me. Your parents are very special and dear to me. Your dad has a kind and caring heart. He is my best friend. I pray for your brother and entire family. I wish I knew what to say or do to make your ordeal easier. Keep the faith.

Dear Haley,
you know, google is quite an amazing tool. I randomly had the urge to google (what, it's a verb now?) your name and through process of elimination (hmm...maybe she married that guy) found your blog. I proceeded to spend the next few hours reading everything in it and smiled, laughed and cried in the process. I wished I knew that you would be in the area to see Aaron a few months back. I'm still in the DC area but actually live in Silver Spring, MD which is a stone throw away from Bethesda. All the same, it's good to see God's abundant blessings on you and your family. Send me a line sometime.

Hi Haley,

This is Joshua, Hannah's courter/boyfriend/special someone/sweetheart/whatever other label that appropriately applies. I have bookmarked your blog (which I am looking forward to reading) and linked my own (which is mostly just my poetry, with a few smatterings of life news). I had a really great time with all of you this weekend at the wedding!

Haley,
My name is Erin Lee and I work for Gyroscope Arts doing booking and publicity for Mo Leverett. I saw in your blog that you interned with Mo and I'm assuming that you know about Mo's new ministry Rebirth International. In case you don't know, you can check out myrebirth.org. Good luck in New Mexico.

My Aunt just sent me a link to this site:

and I thought of you. With the links to her blog and others, it's got recipes, beautiful photographs and lots of stories, some touching, some funny and some a little crazy. I bet you'd like it.

Enjoy.

Jock Ellery Grundy:

Dear Haley and Dan,

I miss Mississippi as well. I graduated high school in Bay St. Louis/Bay High back in 1976. This June 21 we are having out 32nd reunion. As you know Katrina messed with the plans for our big 30th. (My family lost our home to Camille way back when) I wrote 2 songs for the occasion/high school reunion one called "Missin' Mississippi". That name just came to me and I loved the way it rolled off my tongue. I goggled it to make sure no one else had written a song w/that title and found you! I hope you like the song. The 2nd one I wrote should be posted by Monday. I have been in NYC for 20+ years and also spend time growing up in New Orleans. I am at 646-254-7532 during the day if you have questions/comments. Feel free to tell your readers about the song please!
Sincerely,
