And we're back.

Oh, people. What a weekend. There is so much to tell y'all that I am overwhelmed. But at the moment, I am also on my way out the door to work. So you'll have to wait until tonight for the whole story. In the meantime, we do have a couple of prayer requests for y'all.
Today, Aaron should begin his first set of therapy appointments at Walter Reed. This is the beginning of a very important phase because this is the place and these are the people who are going to help Aaron walk again. But it's not all going to happen today. It's going to be a long process, and, like the rest of this, I'm sure it will have its ups and downs for Aaron and for Kelly. Please pray that God would give Aaron's therapists wisdom, give Aaron patience and perserverance and help Kelly to know the best way to support Aaron during this time. She's been doing a great job at that, by the way.
Also, Ryan, our newest Marine, is now home on a ten day leave. He and Aaron were able to spend some time together this weekend, but it was fragmented and brief. Right now, Aaron is trying to find a way to get Ryan up to Maryland to visit for a few days during his leave. Things look good for that working out, but pray that all the details would be taken care of. I know it would mean the world to Aaron and Ryan to be able to spend some time together.
More tonight, and possibly a family member letter posted during the day if I can get to it. Have a good Monday, and leave Aaron some encouragement for his first day of therapy.

Aaron and Kelly

I am glad that therapy starts today. Its a new beginning for both of you and also the beginning of your journey towards home. I personally am very glad to hear that. I know its going to be hard, but, compared to what you and Kelly have already been through and conquered, a little therapy should be okay. Yesterday at church, I was approached by several members of the Ascension congregation that have been keeping up with both of you through this website. Haley- God Bless you and Dan for this!! Everyone said to let you know they are still praying very hard for a complete recovery and both of you coming home. We heard there are some more Mississippi boys at Walter Reid- maybe in your spare time, you can look them up. I know that once they see and talk to you both, they will be encouraged. Take care, work hard, be patient and know we love you!!! Joanne

Unca Steve & Aunt Luigi:

Remember, no falling! You go boy! Love you.

Pam Thompson:

Hey Aaron and Kelly - you guys are in my prayers as you begin therapy. It will not be easy but with your positive attitudes and the Lord's Strength so close to your hearts I know you will face this challenge as well. I am organizing a prayer vigil of Happening people for sometime later this week - I will keep you posted. Working out can be so much fun, working out with a personal trainer takes it to a new level of achievement but hanging during physical therapy requires grit - which I know you have! God's Blessing to you both!!

Jaysen and Jennifer:

Hey Aaron and Kelly!

We just wanted you to know that we will be praying that therapy will go well as you begin today. Also, that it will be successful and pass by quickly as Ellie Mae and Megan won't be able to handle many more days without the two of you. They are beginning to put a somber curse on what is normally a very lively #26 E! But really, it's not the same without you here, so hurry up and get back! We also wanted to let ya'll know how grateful we are to have friends to look to like the two of you, as we are about to begin our own Marine Corps journey! Keep pushing on and know that all of us here at home are so proud of you!
Love ya!

Amanda Davis:

We are all praying for you back in Jackson, MS. I hope that your first day in therapy is a productive one.

Hey Aaron and Kelly,

Hey you two! If you are available on Sunday, April 24 I have decided that I'm going to drop in on DC one last time before I moved back to Mississippi. So if you are able I am going to treat you two to lunch at my favorite place to eat in DC, the Hard Rock Cafe (unless you know of anything better) My email address in faithfullyreserved101@yahoo.com
Keep up the positive attitudes during this time of rehabilitation, you are evidence that Jesus shines in all of our hearts. Hopefully I'll see you in a couple of weeks! Laterz.

In Him,
Grant Williams

Chami Kane:

Hey, Aaron and Kelly,
We finally got our home computer going again, so I've been reading all about your adventures. Ya'll are soo inspirational! It's amazing to see what God is doing in your lives- how He is answering your prayers and heaping blessings in what could be called the Valley of the Shadow of Death. I've been crying reading through all of Haley's awesome accounts and your letters. May God continue to strengthen you and use you powerfully to share Himself with others. I can tell He is working through you to be His light in the darkness. What an amazing testimony! The youth group has been praying for you and the whole family. I love ya'll, and I hope and pray that rehab goes quickly and isn't too painful! Chami

Amanda Davis:

Aaron and Kelly,

I wanted to give you the web address for the guys with 3/25. They have been putting pictures of our Jackson Marines on there and I thought that you might want to see them.

If you look under Deployment Info and then Deployment photos and letters. They are called Iraq 1 and Iraq 2.

Clay Sanders:

Hey buddy. I sure am sorry to hear about the setback. But, I sure am glad that it is not anything serious. You'll be rehabbin in no time. We are all prayin for you, man; and we are also sick of having to communicate with you on the damn computer, so if you wouldn't mind coming on home it would be greatly appreciated. Tell Kelly and the rest of the family(I know they have no clue who I am but tell 'em anyway) that I said hello and y'all let me know if there is anything I can do. Glad to hear that Ryan graduated and is well. Stay out of trouble.
-Clay
(Chris just came in and said to tell you hello)
