I apologize again for the lack of posts. School is starting up here in New Mexico, and as an education reporter that means my life gets a lot busier. So until I can catch up on things in this space of my life, I thought I would ask you what was your favorite year of school and why? Did you have a really great teacher, or a cool new backpack? Personally, my life still kind of moves in school-year cycles even though I've been done for four years, but I miss all the fanfare of new supplies and new books. I might buy myself some new pencils and sharpen them really, really well to make up for it.
So what was your best year of school?

I have a picture of my brothers and I on the first day of school during one of our years at Westminster in Augusta, Georgia. This year had to be one of my favorites, evidenced by my "I [heart] school" bookbag. Hee hee.

I would have to say my junior year of high school. I was finally an upper classmen. No worries about the future. Classes were finally interesting. I actually had friends! That was nice.

Hi, girls! Y'all commenting makes me feel like you're at my house for a cup of coffee. I wish that was true! I realized I didn't put in my best school memory. I would have to say that my freshman year of college was probably the best, although I had some great fun in elementary school. My freshman year at Belhaven though was awesome ... like Bryonie was saying about her junior year of high school, I made lots of friends that year. I was so nervous about college, mostly because I was so afraid I wouldn't fit in at all. But I did, and I realized how much I was going to like my English major that year, too. All in all, it was a good start for a good time of life.
Becca, I would LOVE to see that photo. My mom used to take photos of us on the first day of school, too! That's such a mom thing to do!

Hey Haley! I would have to say the forth grade because of my teacher, Mrs. Davis. She is the reason I want to be teacher. She was lots of fun, but everyone knew not to talk and mess around! I loved her!
P.S. I remember she did a backhand spring in class one day!! That was cool :-) {{She was the cheerleading coach ha!}}

Don't you know all Mom's must take a picture of their babies on the first day of each school year?
I think it is a law or something??? And yes, my kids thought it was dorky also!

My last year in elementary school. I finally got a "Trigger" lunchbox after hounding my parents for years...Oops that lets you know how old I am. Can you imagine taking a lunchbox to school today? How totally uncool!

My freshman year in junior high had to be the best because we were top of the heap. I had lots of friends and thought I was the cat's meow because the freshmen ruled the roost. I remember sitting in front of my best friend in typing class and doing more talking than typing. Great times!

I would have to say that it would be 5th and 6th grade at PCS. I had Mrs. Rene Foster (I believe that you know her). She was my favorite teacher and the reason that I still love English today.
