I have previously been a big fan of Keanu Reeves as the leading contender for title of World's Worst Actor. But as of tonight I would like to declare to you that there is a new nominee, and his name is Vin Diesel. If you don't believe me, please watch "The Chronicles of Riddick," as Dan just made me do. Keanu is going to have to star in, I don't know, Speed 8 in order to win now.
I'm starting to think that getting the Dish package and having access to hundreds of movies was a mistake, in as much as most movies are just really bad.

that is shocking, because keanu was only good in one movie, which was Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. i feel shocked that there is someone worse. YIKES!

I'm the lone female on the planet who actually liked Chronicles of Riddick. Sorry for disappointing you, Haley!

As I can't imagine a scenario in which I would actually watch a Vin Deisel movie, I'll have to take your word for it...but I have a hard time imagining anyone worse than Keanu.

No way he is worse than Keanu. Watch "The Pacifier." That should redeem him.

i go by your site on my daily check...you know, email, ebay, nasdaq and the dow, and wachdorf.com. the daily check. i really just check alot of blog sites because i'm interested in peoples thoughts...which brings me to my point. where have you been? you see, blogs are interesting ways of keeping up with people's lives without even having to talk to them. me and linds can know everything that you and dan are doing (like racing cars and helping trees survive the cruel new mexico wind) without even having to bug you. I don't know that this is necessarily a good thing, because we should probably keep in touch more often than we actually do, but its nice to see what's been going on in your lives. SO, get to writing sister, so that i can have something to read besides yesterday's news. who knows, talking about all of the good times in new mexico might convince me and linds to move!

My confession of actually enjoying Vin Diesel got lost in comment land. It's not so much that I like Mr. Diesel, but more that I kind of enjoyed Chronicles of Riddick.
(Maybe my comment got lost because I can't add. Darn that spam blocker!)

Well, Becca, I love you anyway, even if you liked that movie and my spam blocker hates you. :) I think I would be happy to have Vin Diesel mow my lawn, but the thought of the fate of the world hinging on him in any way makes me nervous, the same way that it makes me nervous that Arnold is the governor of California. But that's just me.
