I think I've mentioned here a couple of times that we have yet to buy Kate any clothes. In case you think I am kidding about that, here is a picture of Kate surveying the brand new nine months wardrobe she has received in the mail this week from her Grammy Wachdorf in Texas. And that's just one grandma. There's another one. And think of the great grandmas. And the aunts. And the great-aunts. Economic slump or not, I think we can all rest assured that Carter's will be having an excellent year, thanks to our family. We're doing our part. In fact, my cousin Shelley and her husband Phillip added a new member to the family just a couple of days ago. So welcome to Mariah Rene, my second cousin. You're going to get so many cute clothes!

That headline cracked me up!!!
I think you could say the same for a certain Philly Grandma.

But to her defense, we have some awesome outlets in Texas! Our HEB even had some really cute baby clothes for a while and they have those little leather shoes. ~Great picture of such an adorable baby and her wardrobe!

Were all those purchases in the last 2 weeks?! Because my Carter's stock split on Tuesday...

What a lucky girl with so many cute dresses! I only wish Jonah was still wearing nine month clothes... I'm in denial about him outgrowing his 18 month stuff - I refuse to buy 24 month clothes for a 7 month old!
P.S. Technically your cousin's baby is your first cousin once removed, not your second cousin. Kate and the baby are second cousins because their parents are cousins.

I think we went a whole year before we HAD to buy anything for Sydney. I did buy a few things that I WANTED for her, but after Grandmothers, there really wasn't a need! I tried going through them for a garage sale and Adam was worse than I was. Every outfit I held up was "his favorite" or "one he remembers her wearing". In case you have forgotten, Adam has a very freakish memory. Now, we have way too many giant ziplocks awaiting the next child (hope it is a girl).
